3D Tissue Imaging
Conventional tissue analysis usually uses frozen or paraffin-embedded sample sections. Micron-thickness tissue sections allow individual cells to be labeled and characterized, but the three-dimensional characteristics of biological samples cannot be detected. The slice analysis only probes and studies the part of the pathological sample, and a considerable part of the information in the entire pathological tissue has not yet been explored. With the development of tissue transparency technology and the birth of light sheet microscopes, we can perform complete 3D imaging characterization of complete samples.
