Method to create possitive habits

One method to achieve is to create positive habits and get rid of negative ones. But sticking to a regimen could be challenging. I've tried establishing yearly goals, but I usually fall short of them. It's best, in my opinion, to start small. 

To become healthier, for instance, is one of my objectives. This means committing to exercise three times a week and making better eating choices. All made more complicated by my addiction to fast food. bitlife
I'm going to start eating healthier meals. I will gradually reduce my intake of fast food, though. 
I'll start by taking two daily walks around my apartment. 
Can you offer any guidance?
