ATCN were commissioned by David Maxwell Assets LTD to first undertake a Non-Intrusive Structural Assessment of an existing 3 storey commercial terrace building located on Queens Road, Hastings. The building experienced a fire on the 3rd floor damaging both timber and steel structural elements. Following the first assessment a second Site Visit was undertaken to carryout an Intrusive Structural Assessment, where openings were created to determine key structural elements and confirm the current structural arrangement. ATCN worked closely with the client who were developing concept proposals for a 4th Floor extension and internal alterations for converting the commercial building into residential apartments.
