About Company

Jana has been an artist most of her adult life.  She began her formal studies as a Fine Arts major at Ohio Wesleyan University.  In recent years her works have begun to gain much recognition.  She strives to be artistically and technically accurate, while creating rich pieces that make sensative statements.   She has studied with Florian Lawton and Jack Richards.  Through Richards, she came to appreciate the mastery of artists Robert Brachman, Ben Stalh, Ben Shahn, Charles Birchfield, Herb Olson, Louis Grell, Bob Skemp, Aaron Bohrod, and Kuneoshi.  She is a Signature member of the Akron Society of Artists.

Jana has had work juried into numerous shows including The Fairmount Fine Arts Center, The Massillon Museun of Fine Arts, The Canton Museum, and the Hudson Society of Artists.   Her works are in private collections throughout the United States.
