In Diablo 2, there is a wide variety of items, which are usually classified according to their importance. There are unique items, rare items, magical items, and unique items.

But, once you have reached the end of the game, you'll be the most interested in items that are set and special items since they are difficult to come by and provide more significant bonus points.

DIABLO 2 RUNES

Runes are tiny magical stones that can be placed inside Socketed Items to grant massive bonuses. Runes are great for making some Crafted Items too.

Additionally, Runes are well-known because if you incorporate some specific Rune combination (known as Runewords) into some specific items in the right order, these items will give you more powerful bonuses.

DIABLO 2 LADDER ITEMS

Some items can only be purchased through Diablo 2 Ladder mode. These are known as Diablo 2 Ladder. Certain items and runewords don't drop or can't be socketed with a non-ladder. This mode is the only way to create Runewords. Certain Rune combinations require rare Runes that you may not obtain them from monsters. Instead, you have to use other rare Runes for crafting them.

If you're struggling to make your most-loved Runeword then browse our Diablo 2 store.

DIABLO 2 DIABLO 2

Charms are items that give you bonuses when kept in your inventory. Keep in mind that charms aren't able to give stats if stored within your Horadric Cube, or in your collection.

There are only unique and magical Charms that you can locate three sizes of them:

* Grand Large Charms

* Large Charms

* Charms for the Small Person

Small Charms need less inventory space. Certain magic properties, however, are only available for larger Charms.

To make sure you have empty space in your inventory You should carry only the strongest Charms and keep some life and resistance charms for when you have to face tough Bosses.

DIABLO 2 UNIQUE ITEMS

It is the most difficult item to find in-game and is especially powerful and popular. They give you more benefits than the regular items and some are vital for ending the game and may boost the potential of most builds.

You may find this type of merchandise with a Battle.net Ladder Character (Single Player, TCP/IP and Open Battle.net Characters). It is therefore impossible to locate them with the normal Battle.net Realm Character.

Consider that the chance of finding powerful unique items is very low and you maybe have no luck after running through a lot of. If that's your situation, then we advise that you go to our Diablo 2 shop. You can locate the components for your most-loved builds quickly and easily through our Diablo 2 items sale.

DIABLO 2 JEWELS

Up to four random magic properties can be provided by Jewels. Because each Jewel provides random abilities and no predetermined bonuses, they differ from gemstones and Runes.

They have the ability to increase the speed of attack, damage resistances, and magically increased damage. Although you can gain many advantages from jewels, they're typically less than those of gems and runes.

Additionally, Jewels don't alter their properties no matter what item you insert they are placed in. They're therefore a popular option for those who wish to modify their items.

On your way there are uncommon, magical and rare Jewels. There are 8 types of Diablo 2 Unique Jewels, but all share the same name (Rainbow Facet).

Some Horadric Cube recipes require a Jewel, so they can be useful even if you do not plan on putting them into an item.

MAGIC ITEMS

Their names are displayed in blue letters and they could have 1 or 2 magical properties that are attached to the base version of the item.

RARE ITEMS

These are less common when compared to magical items and are therefore more effective. Rare items are recognizable by yellow letters and may have 2 to 6 magic bonus features.

CRAFTED ITEMS

Crafted Items appear in orange letters, and you can only create them using the right ingredients in the Horadric Cube. These items can be created by combining random Magic attributes or fixed properties.

SET ITEMS

Set items are easily identified by their names, which appear in green letters. Set Items are unique and come with some magical powers. You can also gain additional bonus effects by equipping your character every item in a set.

UNIQUE ITEMS

Unique items are among the most difficult to come across in the game and are also unique in their names. They possess unique, strong qualities and are engraved with gold letters.

SOCKETED ITEMS

You can recognize Socketed items within the game as their names are written in gray letters. They can be found in Normal or Superior quality. After you've completed the Act5's initial quest, you can socket any item that has sockets. Further, there is a Horadric Cube Recipe that converts items to Socketed items.

To put a gemstone into a Socketed object by left-clicking on the gemstone, then drag the item into the socket. In this way, you'll be capable of customizing your pieces of armor and weapons to have magical properties and better stats.

The only kinds of items you can socket are Body Armors, Shields, Helmets and Weapons (throwing weapons are not socketable though). As you advance through difficulties there will be items that have more sockets. The most sockets that an item can have is four for Armor and 6 for a Weapon. The quantity of the item determines the number of sockets.

* Unique and Set Items One socket. However, there are some exclusive and set items that allow for an additional socket to be used as a magic ability.

Rare Items that can have up to 2 sockets

* Magic Items: up to 4 sockets

There are three kinds of items that you can use for socketing an item. These are Jewels, Gems, and Runes.

DIABLO 2 GEMS

If you place a gem inside a Socketed Item It will be granted with powerful magical properties, based on the grade and nature of the gem. There are 7 different types of gems.

* Skulls

* Amethyst

* Sapphire

* Ruby

* Topaz

* Diamond

* Emerald

Every type of gem comes with different benefits based on whether you insert them inside a weapon, shield, or an armor or helm.

Additionally, there are 5 different kinds of gems:

* Chipped gems

* Flawed gems

* Standard gems

Flawless gems

* Perfect gems

The higher grades of gems can confer more powerful effects than the lower grades. Note that once you insert the gem into the item you can unsocket it with a Hel rune and TP scrolls in the Cube.

UPGRADING GEMS

In order to transform a gem into an even higher quality, you have to touch a gem shrine or use the Horadric Cube. It is possible to combine three gems of the same grade and type to make an item of higher quality.

When both players click the button to accept and both players press the Accept button, the trade is completed. The trade can be cancelled by any player at any time.

Note: The other participant must not substitute the item you want with a product identical in quality, however appearance.

REALM TRADING

Trade is a fantastic option to obtain items that are difficult to locate. Certain items are very difficult (due to the low probability) to loot from monsters. Thus, trading in Realm is extremely popular since it is usually much simpler and faster.

There are a variety of options available for trading:

* Trade your current games: Ask your fellow players if they have exchangeable items, or if they have an item that you're searching for.

* Use Trading games: Join or create games that have "Trade" in the game's title. If you're looking for something specific, you can join or create a game with the specific trade as the game title.

* Use trading forums and message boards You can list things you'd like to trade on several message boards or trading forums.

Use auction sites. There are fan websites that hold auctions of Diablo 2 items.
