Fair Dinkum Sheds Christchurch was formerly known as Durasteel. We are now an exclusive distributor of Fair Dinkum buildings in Christchurch. Hence the name. We purchased the business in 2010 from a relatively inactive distributor and set it up at 72 Durham Street South, where we operated for 8 and a half years. We purchased an industrial general site at 698 Main South Rd, Islington Christchurch about 3 years ago. We moved in and developed the site to what it is now, which consists of 2 very good display buildings, Office and Storage building.
We are a small family business, with 2 dedicated staff members and Brent as Director, so the personal touch is very much our motto. In general, you will only deal with 2 people throughout the purchase of your kit and materials.Our shed sales tend to be mainly to smallholdings and residential owners, with a smattering of industrial and commercial sales as well. Industrial and commercial is an area, that we very much wish to target going forward. We also sell a number of cost-effective dwellings. We are also moving into housing and house and land packages sales.
