This J. Cole cover is one of the four covers for the new edition of 2K with the other ones featuring Michael Jordan NBA 2K MT Coins, Devin Booker as well as a duo consisting of Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi. NBA 2K23 news has been all over social media of late with the NBA ratings dropping this week. Kevin Durant even took at an amusing remark following his score of 2K released. On the day of the game's launch, we spoke with Ronnie Singh aka Ronnie 2K about the decision to place MJ on the cover of the game instead of LeBron and also on the reason Devin Booker was selected over other NBA stars, MyCareer, ProAm, gameplay, and much more.

As someone who's apart of the process, what is the most exciting thing you're looking forward to about for NBA 2K23? Well getting to put Jordan on the cover is always an amazing experience as is working with him, and also the statement that makes us about our sport: the most memorable of all time. This really speaks to what we were trying to achieve from a marketing standpoint but also what the game's potential will be.

We've got our Jordan challenges. They're back. However, they're bigger. Better. There's been a lot of buzz around, all of them, and then there's one that's going be a very emotional one, and one I'm anticipating going back to and reliving is Kobe. It's the first time that they'll play one another. It's going be exciting. I'm a massive MyTeam player, and I was quite excited to more contracts and triple threat online co-op.

You recently made the announcement of J. Cole having his own album cover. What happened and why? Three and a quarter years ago when he dunked during any of the stops of the All-Star Weekend Saturday Night, J. Cole said 'Ronnie, I'd love to be on MyCareer and help think about the concept of that.I collaborated with our team to bring this into existence, but it was very fitting to work alongside J. Cole. I'm glad it's known as the Dreamer Edition Cheap 2K23 MT, because it was an idea which came true over the course of several years. It took a long time to kind of make this occur.
