I'm enjoying the expansion of the city and think the new NPC's will bring the life back to what was previously boring 2K22 MT. I'd like move quickly between places beyond my apartment at times, but it finally feels like a vibrant, vibrant space. That's something I do not think I could've said before.

The city of 2K22 has grown than ever before... it's bigger than ever... and it's not always a good thing. It's as though 2K is working on an NBA-themed MMO. You'll find daily missions scattered across the city, and you're called upon to move between locations to get in order to attend a meeting.

But all that does is hinder the main strength of 2K22's gameplay on the court. I don't really want to be wasting 45 minutes skating from my home to a store to improve my appearance. It's better to do that via a menu with a few one-button presses so that I can get back to my basketball.

Additionally, the City removes what was 2K21's most significant upgrades - the removal of load times. Even on PS5 it will be waiting for a long time every time you're ready to leave your apartment or leave the practice area Buy NBA 2K Coins. The City is just an uncomfortable experience everywhere and proves that larger doesn't necessarily mean better.
